Whether you’re navigating academic pressures, personal challenges, or just need someone to talk to, our teletherapy services provide a confidential and convenient way to receive the care you need.

Who Can Access This Service?
This resource is recommended for all Penn second year students and above who have paid the Clinical Fee. With just a few clicks, you can connect with licensed mental health professionals who are dedicated to supporting your wellbeing.
Why can't first year students access Mantra's teletherapy services?
During your first year at Penn, we encourage you to begin care directly with Wellness at Penn’s counseling team. Meeting with our clinicians gives us an opportunity to better understand your individual needs, connect you with the right support on campus and beyond, and help you navigate the unique experiences and transitions that can come with your first year at Penn.
First-year students have access to counseling services through Wellness at Penn, including in-person and virtual appointments. Mantra Health teletherapy is available beginning in your second year as an additional option for ongoing mental health support.
What is Mantra Health?
Mantra Health is a digital mental health provider dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of students across the country. With a mission to make mental health care accessible, convenient, and effective, Mantra Health combines innovative technology with compassionate support. The services provided through Mantra are designed to enhance and complement Wellness at Penn’s existing mental health resources by providing accessible, high-quality virtual support to students.
Other Virtual Resources Available Through the Care Hub
- Self-Care Modules: you have access to self-care modules right at your fingertips. These short, self-guided wellness-enhancing courses can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Learn to reduce your stress, regulate your emotions, build healthier relationships, and get through difficult situations. Learn more about mindfulness and self-care.
- Peer-to-Peer Support: you will have access to Togetherall, a supportive, online peer community where you can share with others, express yourself creatively, and access tools to learn how to manage your mental health. It is free to use, anonymous, and available 24/7.
