John Stein

John Stein is a staff psychiatrist and the coordinator of the prescriber group here at Penn. Dr. Stein attended Harvard University as an undergraduate, earning a bachelor’s degree studying psychology. After his undergraduate career, he came to Penn to earn his medical degree. Dr. Stein specializes in general adult psychiatry. He has worked in the clinical field since 1995, and has been at Penn since 2006.

Dr. Stein brings a breadth of knowledge to his work, having worked in various clinical settings and spent time in faraway places like Auckland, New Zealand as a psychiatrist at the beginning of his career.
