Maria Pellecchia, DO
Dr. Pellecchia is a physician, providing care for students through Student Health and Counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Temple University and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Pellecchia has been working as a physician since 2001 and has been at Penn since January of 2022. She worked in Temple’s Student Health Services for 12 years prior to joining Penn.
Dr. Pellecchia specializes in internal medicine, and her favorite part of the job is the campus culture. Maria was born in Italy and moved to the U.S. at the age of nine. Outside of work, Maria likes to garden, travel, and spend time with family. She also loves Greek food and can be seen grabbing dinner at her favorite restaurant, Estia.
