She earned her BSN from Gwynedd Mercy College and holds an MSN and PhD, from the University of Pennsylvania and a MPH from the Harvard University School of Public Health. Additionally, she holds a MBA from La Salle University. With expertise in understanding how trauma influences women's physical and mental health, Holly has been a nurse since 1994 and a Nurse Practitioner since 1997, joining the Penn community in various capacities since 1996.

As a faculty member in the School of Nursing, Holly is unable to provide care to School of Nursing students, but she is passionate about meeting and supporting all Penn students, especially those from her home state of Texas. As a Gen X parent, she enjoys spending time with her Gen Z twins, who keep her feeling young and remind her to have fun. Holly has a particular fondness for any place that serves Mexican food.

What she loves most about working at Penn is the incredible enthusiasm and passion of the students. Holly is continually inspired by their energy and finds that she learns something new from them every day, making her role truly exciting.
